Nigel Vardy (otherwise known as “Mr Frostbite”) is a record-breaking mountaineer, speaker and author.
In 1999, he suffered severe frostbite climbing on Mt McKinley in Alaska. After 3 years recovering, Nigel has taken part in over 20 cross-world expeditions, set British records, and written 2 books.He will be joining us to give a captivating talk about his life and his many adventures!
The event will also include a presentation for a Duke of Edinburgh group about their expedition, stalls and information from the County Climbing and Watersports Teams, a licensed bar, and a raffle.
ENTRY: £3 (or £6 with a Pie & Pea supper)
All funds raised will go to the Mountain Heritage Trust
