Mountain Heritage Trust welcomes support from Outside

The Board of Trustees of the Mountain Heritage Trust are delighted to announce that Outside has become the first commercial ‘Supporter’ of the charity. Based in Hathersage, Outside is one of the few specialist outdoor equipment retailers left in the UK, offering expert advice and a wide range of equipment for rock climbing, mountaineering, and hill walking. They also have a strong online shop for those who can’t visit the Peak District, though many do for the personal touch the store provides. Outside has a long heritage in the industry, and the Trustees believe their commitment to recognising the shared history of climbing and its equipment aligns perfectly with the work of the MHT.

This new partnership offers a fantastic opportunity to promote and share the Trust’s efforts in collecting and preserving the heritage of climbers and climbing.
