Closure Update February 2021

With the countrywide lockdown continuing, the Mountain Heritage Trust remains closed to visitors and researchers. We have made the decision to part-furlough our Collections Manager (who will be working from home) from Monday 15th February until the end of March, although essential checks on collections will continue on a regular basis. During this time we will unfortunately not be able to offer a remote enquiry service.

Thank you to all our readers and supporters over the past year. Your interest and donations are greatly appreciated - we are working hard on future plans and hope to share an update with you in the near future.

As our staff do not have ready access to collections we are unfortunately unable to complete our anniversary journey through our collections. However, we are working on some exciting new developments to enable us to share collections and collections information much more widely later in 2021 - watch this space!
