Closure update January 2021

Following the government announcement of a countrywide lockdown, the Mountain Heritage Trust remains closed to visitors and researchers. Our staff will be working from home although essential checks on collections will continue on a regular basis. While staff are working from home we can only offer a very limited remote enquiry service.

Thank you to all our readers and supporters over the past year. Your interest and donations are greatly appreciated - we are working hard on future plans and hope to share an update with you in the near future.

As our staff do not have ready access to collections we are unfortunately unable to complete our anniversary journey through our collections. However, we are working on some exciting new developments to enable us to share collections and collections information much more widely later in 2021 - watch this space!

Our anniversary fundraiser remains open until the end of January, you can donate here via our JustGiving page.
