Job opportunity: Project Manager required for HLF-funded Resilient Heritage project

The Mountain Heritage Trust is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee delivery of anHLF-funded Resilient Heritage project. On behalf of the Trust, the Project Manager will co-ordinate and administer delivery of the nine month scheme, ensuring that it is delivered on time and to a high standard.

The project is designed to examine the Trust’s current position and activities – its strengths and weaknesses – and consider its role for the future, including what it could offer to partners in the mountaineering and climbing sector. The project will provide the Trust with a comprehensive Development Strategy, and give its Trustees the skills and confidence to deliver it.

The Project Manager will be responsible for taking the project forward, including liaison with theTrust Board and its partners, and day-to-day management of a consultant delivering the “Change Management” element of the scheme.

In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for ongoing liaison with HLF, including financial management and progress reports.

At the Trust’s discretion, the contract may be extended to cover additional work relevant to thisbrief, or the development/delivery of future heritage works.
